My husband and I were extremely impressed by the professional service and generous upgrade to a suite for our honeymoon. We were greeted in the suite with chocolates and a bottle of champagne. The front desk was always welcoming and informative, even for requesting a water taxi for us on multiple occasions. I would not stay at any other hotel in Venice for all of our subsequent stays. Thank you for making this such a memorable part of our honeymoon!
We stayed for 3 nights. It's a pleasant stay, great location as the hotel is in close proximity to San Marco (Water Bus) stop. The gondola service is literally next to the hotel. The room with canal view was great as you can see and hear gondoliers serenade tourists. The WiFi was free. Overall it's a great hotel and would come back again.
Amazing food and great service. Really reasonable wine prices. €10 for a litre of house white. Super helpful staff who tried to hold conversations with us. This place is popular with locals and all the fish dishes are fresh and delicious. If it wasn't a flying visit to Italy, I would certainly return.
A place for locals and tourists alike to enjoy a. Simple meal. I only had the pizza, but it had prime base ingredients. No problems with the service either. Don't expect a culinary masterpiece, do expect solid quality.
Family with 3 kids under 12 are here. A broad menu that allowed us all to have something we wanted from a simple pizza to the fabulous salads and steak with green pepper sauce. Good value.
I gave this a 5 because it was just what we needed after touring for hours. Inexpensive. Unpretentious. Delicious.
Take a break from visiting museums and grab a drink and snack here. Everything is very reasonably priced and you can meet some locals. The staff was great and the drinks were strong (I ordered gin & tonic). The little tapas apps they have are delicious. Just sit back and enjoy a moment before you keep exploring Venice.
Great place, recommended by our hotel. Central location near to food market by Rialto bridge. Ate upstairs under the arches, fantastic service, fairly traditional Venetian food but with a modern twist. Reasonably priced (~EUR 150 for two with three courses and wine).
Sometimes great, sometimes just good food. Can't beat the location. Justifies the price I suppose.
I like Hard Rock Cafe's, and I've been to quite a few. This one is nice, the staff are friendly. The booze is a bit expensive, but you are 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's square, so that should probably be expected.
I didn't eat in this cafe, but the food in Hard Rock's is usually very good. Go there, it's a fun place to eat. Oh, and the music is always Excellent.
Lovely little restaurant, felt like the service and food were more local than commercial which suited us perfectly after a long day of wandering around.
Pasta vongolo - 22, seabass filet- 28, sardinie & onion - 18. The price is about 50% higher than an average Venice Resto and The portion is about half . 2 people spent 82 euro, but we were still hungry
I really liked this place - just away from St Mark's Square, very reasonable prices (1.60eur for a cappuccino at the bar, tramezzini similar price and substantially bigger than the average for Venice). Staff are helpful although appear busy. We didn't have any cakes here but they looked delicious and plenty of people seemed very happy with their choices (tourists and locals alike!).
VERY GOOD. Went there based on good google reviews - which proved as true. Amazing fresh food. We had pizza, pasta and deserts - all were super good. The place feels like classic warm Italian pizzeria. Service was very good and the prices were very fair (lower then main street). Definitely go there if u can.
This place was decent and reasonably priced. Reluctant to provide tap water, first said that there was only bottle then appeared with a jug of tap! Eager for tourists to spend which is understandable I guess.
Lovely food and nice people. Worth finding and having a nice meal one evening.
Great ice cream, friendly service. Good place to take a rest after a long day walking, enjoying some strong coffee or indulging with a thick hot chocolate. And you obviously have to find an excuse to order ice cream.
Nice staff and a great view, reasonable prices. Will come back
